Toddletown Nursery in Farncombe is open 51 weeks of the year, taking babies from 6 months to school age. Our approach is all about learning through play, following the child's interests and using natural, authentic resources. Our core opening hours are 8am - 6pm. We offer an early start from 7:30am and extended pick-up time of 6:30pm by request.
We are looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified Early Years Professional to help provide a safe and stimulating lunch time experience. The successful candidate will join our friendly team between 10:30 - 14:30 each day (some flexibility is available with these hours) and provide a continuous high level of care and education while other staff are on their lunch breaks.
Our Farncombe nursery is full of exciting resources to explore. Older toddlers and pre-schoolers have an extensive role play area, well stocked arts and crafts area with their own art gallery wall and plenty of cosy spaces too. Book lovers, budding scientists and quiet puzzle enthusiasts will all find something they love at Toddletown.
Toddletown Day Nursery in Godalming opened in January 2020 and what a first year it has been!
Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, the nursery in Godalming is going from strength to strength. We welcome new families each week and have a friendly and welcoming staff team of 14. Our occupancy levels are incredible and we are so proud of our teams' achievements. Being part of Toddletown is really something to be proud of and in this small, family run company we value each individual and the contribution they make to our team.
We are now looking for an innovative and proactive Early Years Professional who shares our values and ethos and can make every day magical!
The successful candidate will be joining a busy nursery and we do have high expectations....lots of energy and being able to think on your feet are essential qualities!
Our ethos is driven by letting the children learn through play and make their own choices and we are looking for someone who can encourage and nurture their natural curiosity.
We use lots of loose parts and authentic resources and welcome applications from practitioners with experience in, or a proven interest in this area of play.
This is an all year round position offering 29 days annual leave. Term-time only patterns are not available at this time.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is personable and professional and who will build lasting relationships with local families with ease. Experience in a day nursery and high professional standards is essential. A full and relevant level 2 or 3 qualification is essential.
