Mother's Day in and around Godalming
If you are looking for something to do on Mothers Day around Godalming, we have found a couple of things that may tick all the boxes. Even better, if you like the sound of both, you could spread them over the Mother's Day weekend.
We know a lot of little ones love to make something themselves for their mummy's special day. So why not pay a visit to Squires Garden Centre where they are running a ‘create and grow’ Mother's Day planting event from Friday 29th - 31st March.
The children will get to plant a trug with 3 colourful plants all by themselves (maybe with a little help from a grown up). They can finish off their creation with a beautiful bow and I'm sure will be left with a masterpiece they are so proud of and can't wait to give to mummy.
There will also be a paper flower maze for the children to try and of course, no garden centre visit is complete without cake.
Squires has a cafe where you can finish off your visit with a sweet treat and a cup of tea for mummy, it is her weekend after all.
On Mother's Day itself, the beautiful Ramster Gardens are offering all mums free entry into their award-winning gardens. Entry for those under 16 is always free, other visitors will have to pay £7.50. Ramster Gardens is full of unusual flowers and rare, unique trees. They have a woodland trail to tire those little guests out and some gorgeous lakes that make for a lovely resting spot. Even your furbabies can get in on the action as long as they are kept on a lead. There is also a cafe if you fancy a sit down for lunch or a slice of cake and to rest your legs.
Ramster Gardens is a beautiful, colourful place to spend your Sunday and not something to be missed out on. What a lovely way to spend your day if you're looking for something to on Mother's Day in Godalming.
Whatever you chose to do on Mothers Day, we hope you enjoy your day.
