Rainbow Painting (mess free!)

At Toddletown, mess = learning! We love to let babies and toddlers explore a broad range of messy play and sensory activities. We also know though, that nursery is different to home and parents aren't always so keen on messy play! 

This simple activitiy gives you the best of both worlds...let babies explore paint, but in a mess free way. 

Foam Rainbow
This is one even the smallest of hands can enjoy and is a great sensory activity.

What you will need

• A plastic sealable bag, preferably two.
• Shaving foam
• Different colours of paint (as many as you like)

Steps

1. Place spread-out splodges of paint inside the plastic bag.
2. Fill the bag with foam
3. Seal bag closed and place upside down into another sealable bag and seal closed. Make sure the bag is sealed securely.
4. Letyour baby play and watch the colours spread and mix with the foam while enjoying the sensory aspect of the squidginess.

Be sure to stay with little one at all times while playing with the sensory bag and dispose of it safely and out of reach
