Are you looking for things to do for Fathers Day in Farncombe? Read on for an idea for a great day out with the family.
Hatchlands Park has stretches of parkland on the edge of the Surrey Hills and a classic country house to explore, only 20 minutes away from Farncombe.
At Hatchlands the little ones can enjoy some bonding with dad while he shows off his building skills. There will be a fun mini-raft building activity, especially for Father's Day. If you've got a little one that likes a bit of DIY and has a toy tool kit, why not take it along so they can feel part of the action. I'm sure toy tools don't count as cheating!
After you can take a walk and enjoy the scenery. You could also stop for something to eat in the Kitchen Cafe or the newly refurbished Coach House. There's also a children's adventure area complete with a treehouse to round off the visit, while dad has a hard-earned rest after all that skilled building.
If you've not been before, definitely take a look at the Tree House at Hatchlands Park. This aerial adventure gives the best views across the parkland and we think it's the perfect place to enjoy Fathers Day in Farncombe.
This event is free, but admission does apply, unless you're national trust members.
