I have worked in the childcare sector since gaining my qualification 16 years ago in Early Years, where I began my career in a local nursery. I enjoyed my time there but felt that I wanted to see a little bit more of the world, so took off to explore some of Europe working for the holiday company Mark Warner.
Having worked several seasons in Greece and finally in Egypt I met my Husband and welcomed my first son.
With my son starting school I joined another local nursery , from there I have progressed in my role from Nursery Nurse to becoming Preschool Room Leader. Just recently I have taken on my next challenge and welcomed my second son who is 8 months old.
I love that in my job, no day is the same, one day you could be an explorer in the Amazon jungle, and the next you could be covered in gloop investigating the world of letters and numbers.
I'm so excited to be joining Toddletown as the Deputy Manager and can't wait to start meeting you all.
